Dear Senior Services Recipient:
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty to the programs and services offered by Belmont County Senior Services for the past 39 years. As you may know, the Belmont County Board of Commissioners recently decided to move these programs and services under a new division within the Belmont County Department of Job and Family Services. This management change will take effect over a period of time from now through early Fall.
As the leaders of Belmont Senior Services and the County Department of Job and Family Services, we wanted to reassure you that we are doing everything possible to keep the same quality services and programs you currently enjoy for many years to come. We are currently working on a transition plan to continue offering daily hot meals, transportation services to medical appointments, and other appointments such as the grocery store, homemaker services and many others. We are also going to work closely with the communities and seniors to continue to make the ten senior centers across Belmont County a vibrant place to gather and enjoy programs and services. The Centers will remain open and will continue to offer you local programs and services.
In the coming weeks, we will continue to provide information to you on the transition. Thank you again as one of our valued customers and we look forward to serving you for years to come.
