Position available: Part-Time Transportation Driver

Immediate Supervisor: Transportation Manager

Qualifications:

·         Must have driving record compliant with all existing rules and regulations, subject to verification by BMV report

·         Must have background check compliant with all existing rules and Regulations, subject to verification by BCII and FBI report

·         High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)

·         Attend Defensive Driving Class as specified

·         Attend Passenger Assistance (DRIVE) Training as specified

·         Certified in CPR/1^st Aide

·         Pass an annual medical Physical Examination and drug/Alcohol test as specified by DOT/CDL Guidelines

·         Annual TB Test

 

Hours: M-F, occasionally Saturday as needed. Approx. 20 Hrs./week

General Duties:

·         Transport older persons to and from community facilities and resources for the purpose of applying for or receiving services

·         To accompany older persons individually or in small groups to help them accomplish the purpose of the trip, i.e., shopping, medical appointments, medical services, senior centers, etc.

·         Document all units and/or services provided (Miles and odometer reading) and document all information on clients served.

·         Properly maintain assigned vehicle

·         Perform and document daily vehicle inspections

·         Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Wage: $8.50/Hour
